The Journey of Phoenix Integrators: A Legacy of Innovation and Growth
Phoenix Integrators began its journey as RKK Associates LLC in Kansas City in the early 2000s, a time of economic uncertainty marked by massive layoffs in the region. Amidst this challenging landscape, a unique opportunity emerged when the Director of EPMO for the City of Kansas City approached Rick Khosla, recognizing his expertise in Microsoft Project Management solutions and his ability to build structured program management offices. Tasked with deploying project management solutions and establishing an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), Mr. Khosla successfully laid the foundation for what would become a long-standing legacy in technology-driven program delivery.
Building on this early success, RKK Associates secured a pivotal contract with the City Courts to implement a Legislative Lifecycle and Case Management application, further cementing the company’s reputation as a trusted provider of full lifecycle technology solutions. This project underscored the company's commitment to delivering robust, end-to-end solutions that streamlined operations and enhanced efficiency.

As the company expanded its services and client base, RKK Associates rebranded to REGA, an acronym representing its core values—Results, Excellence, Governance, and Accountability. This shift reflected the company’s growing commitment to delivering mission-critical solutions with a focus on strong governance, operational excellence, and measurable results.

With time, the company continued evolving, expanding into federal and commercial markets, implementing enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms. This transformation led to the formation of Phoenix Integrators, symbolizing the company’s resilience, innovation, and ability to rise to new challenges—just like the mythical Phoenix.
